@EnochianLu7283 obi wan cuts off the bottom parts of his legs when they duel in episode 3 and then anakin's body gets burned by lava. obi wan leaves him for dead, unable to finish him off and vader gets prosthetics and a special suit that helps him deal with the lava damage but also tortures him
