At this point, Vergil running into hell was just an easy way out from child support and realisation that he was wrong. I love this power-hungry, traumatized loser, but sorry pal, I feel bad for Dante more. 😭

That's why Dante's life was worse. He had to make up for everything his family did. Sparda saved the humanity? Good, now it's your turn. Vergil messed up? Alright, Dante will fix that. Vergil got a son? Great, uncle'll make sure he won't die from his father's hand and vise versa.
