@elonmusk That's one of the main reasons that I didn't buy a Tesla in Germany :(

Europe will love Tesla self-driving! Due to the extreme regulatory burden of the EU, which in general stifles innovation in Europe, Tesla owners there have been stuck with basic lane-following.

German TV reporter testing @Tesla FSD (Supervised) V14 in the country as public transport in rural areas: "I was genuinely impressed. In the situations where we experienced the system, it worked perfectly and safely. I hadn't expected that. Even in the bad weather conditions in the Eifel region. In many cases, it reacted at least as well as a human driver, if not better. If Tesla is ever allowed to roll out this system nationwide in Germany, I think it will have a major impact on mobility. And that will only be the beginning of some very significant changes in transportation..."

ImageMagick has been my go-to tool lately. I’ve built a fully local AI image pipeline on my Mac that just works: 🧠Ideation: Gemini (for prompt engineering) 🎨 Gen AI: Draw Things (various models) ⚙️ Automation: ImageMagick + Bash scripts for auto-formatting and geometric edits.

@Pirat_Nation E33 easily. But the more the GOTY approaches, the more I read haters comments on 𝕏. For me, video game is about fun and emotions. And in 40 years of gaming, no game has ever gave me more emotions than @expedition33. So long for heartless gamers.

The result? My repo is small, pushes are fast, and I can version my largest assets without fear. It feels like unlocking a new skill on the #indiedev tech tree. If you're making a game in Unity or Unreal, Git LFS isn't just nice to have. It's essential. 4/4 #gamedev #unity3d #git

The solution is Git LFS (Large File Storage). It's a Git extension that cleverly stores your big files (📦) elsewhere and leaves a tiny text pointer (📝) in your repo. Your repository stays lean, while your assets are still perfectly version-controlled. It's magic! 3/4

Just hit a classic #gamedev roadblock 🛑. Tried to push a 112MB Unity scene for my game, Northern Convoy, and GitHub said: "Nope! File is too big." Ever been there? Turns out I've been handling large assets all wrong. A thread on my "aha!" moment with Git LFS 👇 1/4

@BroadcastZero_0 So true. The whiteboxing phase is the unfiltered truth of indie development! It's not about how a game looks but about answering the single most important question: “Is this fun?” #indiegamedev

@saeidzeb Whiteboxing feels like the perfect time to experiment, but scope creep can derail you. Protect your core loop: get it working, test it, iterate. Once it’s fun in greybox, you’ll know exactly what’s worth building out later. 🙌

GDD is written, books are read, and my brain is buzzing with ideas! 🧠📚 Time to move from planning to doing. The journey from document to reality begins now. Let's build this thing! #indiedev #gamedev #gamedesign 1/3

@roguephotondev Thank you for your advice. Yup, that's the plan. I've already limited my vision to make it happen on the planned schedule. Actually, one of the main goals is to publish the game and have a finished game 💪

@saeidzeb If you work solo my advice is to critically evaluate how much time will you need for the essential features and make sure they're viable to implement in the planned timeframe. Once I had to scrap a project because I realized it's never going to get finished 😭 Best of luck!

So, #gamedev community! What's your single best piece of advice for a developer moving from paper design to their first playable prototype? Any pitfalls I should watch out for during the whiteboxing/greyboxing phase? Hit me with your wisdom! 🙏 #indiegame #devlog #askgamedev 3/3

First big lesson learned before writing a single line of final code: Whiteboxing is CRITICAL. My plan is to block out the entire core loop in Unity with simple shapes to make sure the mechanics are actually FUN. It's all about the skeleton before the skin, right? #unity3d 2/3

Loving "Designing Video Games" by @maine_stuart! It's been the perfect companion for my journey into indie game development and super accessible for a newcomer. What are some other must-read books for new game designers? #GameDev #IndieDev

Trying to wrap my head around Krita's basics. It's a new skill for me, but it's essential for creating the game assets I have in mind. Excited to share my progress as I go! #gamedev #indiedev #krita

@saeidzeb There is always some photo (or multiple) as a basis for all my scenes. I'm recreating it from scratch with hands using pixels.
