@Meetasengupta As educated people on social media, no one bothers doing enough research on the multiplicity of grey issues in mental health. This is the other problem of technology and how Indians as people use it. We ape the West at many levels but yet can't choose to ape the other bits

@Meetasengupta when we say it is the 'illness' making the child behave that way, we've concluded that people with mental illness are violent and an untreated child will turn violent. This is fundamentally, existentially and experientially wrong and unjust.

@Meetasengupta what are the statistics of actual violence both active and passive caused by the 'normal' people versus those of one kid taking a gun and shooting? We've assumed that violence has to be a gun and this too a narrative from US where guns are sold like candies.
