He stood for Odisha with pride and for India with courage. His life was defined by conviction, action, and service — never by hesitation, and never by self-interest. For the people of Odisha, Biju Babu represents pride, legacy, identity, and honour. His contribution deserves seriousness. His legacy deserves respect. And Biju Babu shall always be remembered as one of India’s staunchest nationalists and one of Odisha’s proudest sons.

I don’t think he knows that Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru had given him an office next to his in Delhi while he was still Chief Minister of #Odisha to help with strategy during the Chinese conflict and fight the Chinese. I was wondering actually, international flights operating from other countries are primarily B747 with few being B777-200LR or 300ER. They need huge runways to land and take off. So they are not coming. We don’t have enough domestic airlines to operate either. Indian airways is dominated by Air India and Indigo. A few others fly but mostly inoperative.
