@StrikeThr3333 @DevotedDividend Man, I respect the idea of investing for the future self, but you are totally right about enjoying the earnings right now. I do invest thinking in the old me, but I also invest thinking in retiring before 50, and JEPQ and other similar etfs fit just fine.

@DevotedDividend JEPQ. It’s paying me more to live in the here and now. I may not be here by the time SCHD’s distribution catches up. JEPQ has already proven itself to bounce back during market downturns. I’ll take the income today and enhance my quality of life today
