The House & Senate approved a budget including an additional $12 million of general funds to increase state support for additional school counselors at all levels. School counselor-to-student ratios have been ignored in VA for 30 years-this is a MAJOR accomplishment!

Met with one of our students that didn’t meet graduation requirements last year. She persisted and never quit. I can’t tell the magnitude of her story in one tweet. She passed her final test last month and will walk with the Class of 2019. This is what she dropped off today.
