Bestest scene of #Peddi Pure Satisfaction to see this act. ❤️🔥🧨

#Peddi delivers a good 1st half packed with strong commercial elements, all presented with a style of its own. Both songs Rai Rai RaRa & Chikiri Chikiri are an absolute feast on the big screen and elevate the theatrical experience significantly. One of the film's biggest strengths is its technical excellence. Every department has contributed exceptionally well. The visuals look stunning throughout and offer a freshness that has been missing from Telugu cinema for quite some time. The colour grading and visual composition of every frame feel meticulously worked on, making the audience feel immersed in the mood of each scene. The stretch from the pre-interval to the interval is where the film truly peaked for me. As a movie lover, that entire portion delivered a complete sense of satisfaction. Scenes between #RamCharan and #JagapathiBabu worked out well. @AlwaysRamCharan Ram Charan has done a fantastic job as Peddi, and this undoubtedly stands among the top three performances of his career. He completely owns the character & we see only Peddi after a while in the movie. Special Mention to the costume designer of Ram Charan, they really looked good and suitable for the role of Peddi. @arrahman A.R. Rahman has exceeded expectations with his work on the film. The background score feels really fresh throughout and elevates the scene. Combined with the film's overall technical finesse, it contributes significantly to making Peddi feel like a fresh experience. That said, the editing is one area where the film falls short of reaching its full potential. The first half and second half operate on different emotional and narrative meters, creating a slight sense of disconnect. While both halves remain true to the story they are trying to tell, the transition between them could have been smoother. The 2nd half stays true to the soul of the film and succeeds in creating an emotional impact. However, I felt the journey of the 3rd Sport deserved much more screen time and development. The film should have dedicated a larger portion to show the 3rd sport, like how both Kusthi (through Massa Massa) and Cricket (through Rai Rai RaRa) evolved and gained prominence in Peddi's journey. Since the 3rd sport ultimately becomes the key lever that helps the protagonist achieve his goal, its journey felt underexplored. It falls just one step short of creating a much larger emotional payoff. At its core, Peddi is a story about self-identity and the importance of being in constant pursuit of it. This theme is repeatedly emphasised throughout the narrative in song lyrics and in dialogues. However, the execution doesn't always maintain a consistent connection with this underlying emotion. As a result, the objective of bringing the railway station to the village occasionally overshadows the deeper and more powerful theme and subtext of self-identity. I also personally felt that a few portions in the second half appeared to be shot differently. The sudden changes in screen ratio during certain sequences created a minor sense of visual disconnect. Additionally, I believe the first half could have been trimmed by 10–15 minutes, with that runtime being allocated to the second half to further strengthen the journey and development of the third sport. Despite these few shortcomings, the film leaves behind a lot to learn from, reflect upon, and ruminate on. The core ideas that Peddi explores stay with you long after the credits roll. And for me, that takeaway alone is enough to say that Peddi ultimately delivers what it set out to achieve and is a great watch. Rating: 3.5/5 #PeddiReview #BlockBusterPeddi
