Thanks for coming to my Twitter Ted Talk. TL;DR: there's a narrow Charter ground for Bill 21 to be challenged, otherwise we need to wait another 3 years and see what happens. And the feds should consider disallowing the law in addition to a court challenge. (18/18)

Hey Twitter, seeing a lot of tweets over #Bill21. Here are my two cents. The Charter of Rights and Freedoms guarantees rights. If a law infringes on these rights, it can be struck down by the courts. (1/18)

@RobButler Could be a work-life balance issue because of the pandemic. The lack of in-person convos makes most virtual convos related to work feel like "work". Used to use my coffee/lunch breaks for GoC related convos but now I dont take as many breaks! Also there's a screen-time fatigue.

Pandemic scrolling overload? Competing priorities? Not enough downtime during work? Not interested in Twitter or social media? Is nobody saying anything new? People not sharing things anymore? Or? I am curious.

I have noticed a considerable drop in #GC conversations on @Twitter this year. After running some stats, I found many colleagues' accounts haven't tweeted in months. Furthermore, some of those colleagues used to share lots of great ideas and their work. I am wondering why.

@RobButler Agreed! Public policies are often developed based on past or current issues/needs, not the future ones. IMHO we also need to invest for the future. Some of skills people spend years to master can becomes less important because of changes (e.g. AI, automation)!

@saief14 I love this Saief! What does "bilingualism" or even "multilingual" 15 years from now. Small tangent. I love the way Singapore has integrated several cultures into their calendar year and even celebrate. That may be Canada 20+ years from now!
