The Boys ending was good because it was intimate. I don't think the season was perfect or anything but it hits the notes it needed to. MM should have killed Soldier Boy somehow too though............

i once went to a show where the headlining act were two people hooked up to heartrate monitors that was hooked up to a synth, one of them fucked the person playing the synth. certainly a memorable experience

My unpopular opinion is we actually don't have enough new Pokemon. I liked Pokemon black and white for forcing the player to basically only use new Pokemon and I wish each generation added min 120 new Pokemon.

@khazarAntlers With speed stats and type match ups, meow kills swamp then scep takes qua, blaz takes meow, skel take scep, then its just skel vs blaz. blaz cant use fighting type moves but is still faster, I think considering that move availability skel wins. So I think it's not a wash.

@saint_ed5n Legit manga and anime usually have a certain feel to them, I look at this trailer and know in an instant this is not made by a japanese team.

So "manga" means comics by translation. The words are literally interchangeable when talking about the medium but also we can refer more to the style of the medium as well. With Manga denoting a style originating in Japan. So these are manga characters and it looks fun as hell.

@baitbleed they matter, implication and accuracy literally only matters if you are a manga reader but that doesn’t deny that naruto is a japanese comic book so is dragon ball and to an average japanese person batman is an american manga.

@baitbleed i just literally explained that to english speakers a manga is a comic, to a manga reader they are manga but that doesn’t stop it from being a comic book. same in japan vice versa, a japanese person who reads western comics would call it a comic while a non reader would say manga

@baitbleed Only if you are a manga consumer if you arent a manga consumer and are handed a manga, youwould say comic. The average english speaker probably wouldn't differentiate, the average manga consumer would.

@baitbleed in the same way most japanese speakers use the catch all manga and anime.
the average english speaker if they were handed a manga would say its a comic and if they saw an anime would say a cartoon. To even use the words manga and anime you would have to be a consumer of it.

@baitbleed I think everyone likes to think they easily identify stuff like that but also you arent japanese. you are no expert on the medium nor the connotations. I am a book maker, at the minimum I know about the formatting of books and I use that define my criteria for the medium.
