Imagine an American citizen pulling up to the 🇨🇦 border - US flag in the backseat, derogatory signs already made. “What are you coming into Canada for?” “I’m here SPECIFICALLY to protest against your federal government. I hate the federal Liberals. I want them gone.” We would never let him in, NOR SHOULD WE. We have a democratically-elected government & we should never allow foreigners to protest it. I can’t think of a single musician or actor I like more or less because of their politics. It doesn’t matter to me & I like them expressing themselves. They have as much right as anyone else. I love Sean Penn, Chuck Norris, Javier Bardem, Dennis Quaid, doesn’t matter. I’m also a sucker for Springsteen shouting out names of cities. He should shout out 40-50 cities at every show.
