Napaka walang kwenta ni Alan Peter Cayetano to let this happen. Gunshots in the Senate. If anyone dies or gets injured, this is the fault of Bato and Alan Peter. Alan Peter should resign from the Senate.

I’m glad sky posted the chanting so we could understand it this time. It’s amazing how 6 lines with rhythm along with the instrument, sound effect and BGM can make the scenes feel so sacred, gloomy and intense like it just keeps building up🔥 #WUTheSeriesEP2 #skywongravee

A few thoughts so far after watching #WUTheSeriesEP2 Pete lives recklessly, he doesn’t value his own life enough to protect it properly, but at his core he’s an emotional person. He acts based on instinct, attachment and feelings. He wears emotions on his sleeves and is an open book, which makes it easier to read him. Niran, on the other hand, feels distant with a monotonous life. He’s very much a “the ends justify the means” kind of guy like very logical and controlled. He seems conflicted as whether or not he can connect with someone normally, he’s holding all his cards close to his chest and it’s hard to read him properly. Their dynamic feels so compelling to me rn. I feel like Pete is gonna teach Niran to feel more human again, while Niran is gonna become someone who grounds Pete and makes him feel like his life is worth living, which is hilarious cuz pete has a demon inside him and niran, despite acting like he has everything under control, doesn’t seem like he knows what he’s doing with his life either.

damn. so pete was born with total hearing loss... and his parents were so desperate to change that to the point that they travelled all the way to another country to get the disability removed through shamanic rituals. tying their child's life to something as dangerous as yao just so their child doesn't grow up deaf, seeking help from an entity that's against nature itself... i get the fear and worry they must've been going through, but i also absolutely despise the notion that common people hold that when you're disabled, your life is ruined. yes, disabilities are disabling for a reason, but the main factor that makes life hard for disabled folks is the lack of material support needed to alleviate the struggles that a disability can bring to the person and aid them to live a life that's suited to their capacities. disabled people are forcedly isolated from society through this very fear, ignorance and the refusal to dig deep within and ponder what a person is truly, inherently worth. are people only valuable when they are able-bodied and can be used to generate profit? of course, capitalism has to be mentioned. it cannot be separate from disability politics, for the latter is highly influenced by the way capitalism has shaped our views of human function and value. i may have gone off a tangent here, but what an interesting revelation... i feel like going off more about the way society treats disabilities like a life sentence of misery, but i'm just gonna keep watching first. i sure hope they explore this arc further.

btw notice the detail of the lighting and colour palette. dark and cold at first bc both niran and pete live lonely lives and have learned to rely only on themselves, but when they start being friends, everything gets brighter and warmer: #WUTheSeriesEP2 #hirunkit_ #skywongravee

I wanted to talk about this scene specifically for one moment. I had a completely different idea about niran during EP1 cause he seemed like a chill dude with a non chalant personality who only cared about doing his job right sticking to HIS moralities (while using pete yes). In episode 2 however he """showed""" himself more or at least we saw him on a deeper level. He's troubled by his own past trauma, by the current state of the political world,by his own sibling's position in the WU world and dare I say also by pete's personality. He's not used to someone capable of breaking his walls and the scene here with the mirrors breaking could also symbolize that. Niran lives in his own bubble minding his own business and pete breaks in without any problems nor permissions. He's alone, he knows people ofc but at the end of the day he really has no one that actually understands him which in my opinion translates to the yao asking "who are you" and him staying silent. That's when Pete comes in and breaks his solitude. A dude that has nothing except for bad luck and huge amounts of debts and yet he manages to connect with niran on a personal level whether he likes it or not. I love that he has such an introspective personality and sky ofc managed to make him shine even more. Great actor for a great role. #WUTheSeriesEP2 #skywongravee
