@ukled_co Please can your team get back to me ASAP.. Your customer service is EXTREMELY slow. I returned an item 10days ago. No one has acknowledged my emails asking whether you will refund or send the correct LED tape I ordered after you sent the wrong tape. No number to call.

Life on Our Planet features a wealth of CGI magic, but it is supported by a background of ambitious and even groundbreaking real-life cinematography. "Of course, we could have had the backgrounds be CGI as well as the animals but by choosing to film real locations, the scenes became somehow more believable." - Sophie Lanfear Read more: denofgeek.com/tv/the-filmmak…

@TM9380 We had to span 500million years of life & make sure the main evolutionary story points were represented. So naturally there are massive chunks of time we have to miss out, but hopefully the overall narrative helps people understand the rough order of evolution and mass extintions

I’m 3 episodes in so far. Life on Our Planet has the makings of a pretty good general overview of the history of life. It struggles in many ways on close inspection, but it feels like the huge scope is partly why. Curious as to the next 5…

We can finally talk about it! For the last 4.5 years we have been working on a major Netflix series that tells the story of the history of life on Earth. Narrated by Morgan Freeman it comes out late 2023

@Superraptor53 @nyrorosaurus @JAMIEMcPHERS0N @NetflixUK Many reasons - of course! Every single tiny detail of the series was thought through. We also have to work within many constraints - that is the reality of life. Personally bringing the real world into it helps connect us to the modern day. It is more relatable.

@sajlanfear That's great to hear, glad that the people that worked on it had a great time. For me personally I've yet to watch the series(for which I'm very exited to). But when I saw this shot of the Allo the proportions seemed a bit off to me. Mainly the long neck and smaller head.

'Life could be a dream' Made a little edit of the #LifeOnOurPlanet Allosaurus. Note: I don't dislike the design, I actually quite like it a lot, especially the head. It's just that the proportions are a bit... off.

@jackpesaurus It was an incredible learning curve. Working with the best scientists in the world as consultants, so I find it interesting to read so much conjecture on here about scientific accuracy. Each creature had over 100 pages of summarised academic notes on it that ILM then referred to

@RubberBoas @JAMIEMcPHERS0N @NetflixUK We have to cover such a massive period of time in 7 episodes whilst making each show stand alone. So naturally we have to make huge leaps in time. We also had the challenge of summarising vast amounts of scientific theory and understanding. There is no pleasing everyone!

@TheDinoBuff We consulted the top Gorgonopsid/Permian scientists who helped with every level of detail of the creature's look from skeleton, to body mass, to whether teeth should be covered of uncovered. There will be more behind the scenes coming out on Netflix Youtube soon to explain

It's awful news to hear HPAI (bird flu) has made it to Bird Island South Georgia. This is a terrible disease caused by humans farming poultry in intensive units, allowing the disease to mutate and develop.
British Antarctic Survey 🐧@BAS_News

Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI) has been confirmed in brown skua populations on Bird Island, South Georgia. These are the first known cases in the Antarctic region. 📰 @GovSGSSI news release: gov.gs/hpai/ 🗞️ Our news story: bas.ac.uk/media-post/fir…
