i still pop outside to pick flowers, though it’s not even spring.. but who’s counting? the blooms are just sweet as i’ve managed to be, still doing their thing even off-season. maybe that is what i love the most.. how beauty insists on showing up, quietly, anyway ⎯ ⠀ּ ּ   ⬭,

the breath of fall wind has always felt like home—not for its bite, but how it somehow feels kind. it passes by like a secret the season keeps, finding me whole. there’s a tender-hearted ease in it that says: endings, too, can be feathery; and change doesn’t have to ache
