The Mets disappointed me this offseason by botching the Edwin Diaz negotiations and not keeping Pete Alonso BUT… With the FA moves after that, a full year of Nolan McClean, calling up Carson Benge and year 2 of Juan Soto in Queens and I have gotten a little excited Maybe it’s blind optimism, but I think the Mets can be a playoff team this season especially if McClean and the other young pitchers take a step - my biggest concern is Devin Williams as the Closer… But let’s get this thing started Thursday Let’s Go Mets

Things are heavy right now and one way I’ve been combatting it is being intentional about planning a monthly hang session with my friends. This doesn’t fix the core issues but it makes things feel a bit less heavy and gives me energy to keep pushing forward.

The Cade Cunningham news sucks. The level of rivalry between these two teams has never been higher, but we shouldn’t wish such hardship on any teams players just because they’re the opponent. I’m thankful for Cade and the Pistons for what their role in the Knicks journey has been as they’ve provided the type of competition we should want as fans to challenge New York to play their best and to provide fans all over the league with good basketball.
