In a virtually-unheard of setup, Thursday features a legitimate severe weather/tornado risk in Dubai, the UAE, northern Oman, Bahrain and Qatar. Serious flooding – with up to a year's worth of rain – is expected as well.

B1 in multiple sclerosis MS 🧠 600-1500 mg/day Thiamine HCl given to 15 MS patients cut fatigue 41%, despite “normal” blood levels of thiamine and TPP. Up to 75% of people with MS experience fatigue at some point in their lives. Thiamine treatment also resulted in near complete disappearance of: -intolerance to heat -sleep disorders -depression -anxiety -irritability -dry skin -lower leg swelling -tachycardia “This pilot study showed that treatment with high doses of thiamine was associated to a remarkable improvement of fatigue-related symptoms in MS, which closely resemble a mild thiamine deficiency. During this study we have never recorded any side effect.” (Costantini, 2013)

modafinil is seriously so easy to run but everyone messes it up big time the pitfalls every noob falls into: taking it too late - half life is 12-15 hours - a 10am dose = 3 hours of lost output - and guaranteed sleep problems that night solution: set a second alarm 2 hours before your real one. pop the modafinil. go back to sleep. by the time you wake up, modafinil is fully onset. wake up turned ON. sleep issues pushed back by 2 hours. skipping choline - modafinil burns through acetylcholine - no choline source leads to headache at 5pm - foggy evening - wasted second half of your day solution: 500mg citicoline in the morning. not optional. solves all of it. modafinil doesn't feel stimulatory - some people are poor responders due to CYP3A4 enzyme variation - they metabolise it too fast for plasma levels to build properly solution: switch to armodafinil. it's the purified r-enantiomer. roughly 1.5x more potent at the same dose. slower onset, longer peak. some people prefer modafinil. some armodafinil. just genetics. i love both. not drinking water - modafinil is quietly dehydrating - most of the "side effects" people complain about are just dehydration solution: 1 extra litre minimum. include electrolytes. i like to have several san pellegrino bottles on my desk. drink more if you're also on caffeine. eating too late or not at all - it kills appetite - you know this - but running it fully fasted all day then crashing into a massive meal at 8pm - destroys your sleep solution: small meal in the morning. kefir is great. eat a larger meal in the evening, but not massive. keep the brain fed. no cycling - with daily use, sleep debt compounds disproportionately by day 5-6 - by day 7 you're running modafinil on terrible sleep solution: 5 days on 2 days off. or. 3 days on 1 day off. after a few weeks. your off days feel like modafinil days anyways. making too much money: sorry, this is a natural byproduct of modafinil use, can't help with that one. solution: quit. what i actually use: us domestic modafinil modafinilxl.com/buy/modvigil-d… us domestic armodafinil modafinilxl.com/buy/waklert-do… not medical advice.

@HansAmato If you don't mind me asking, what was the therapeutic dose of l-glutamine. Been personally struggling with gut issues since my first Iraq deployment. No help from Amy docs and no help from civilian docs now that I'm retired.

$8,400 on a gastroenterologist, an allergist, and 14 months of elimination diets before someone tested his zonulin levels Had a client come to me after being told he had IBS, possible Crohn's, maybe a "sensitive stomach." He'd cut out gluten, dairy, eggs, soy, corn, nightshades, histamine foods. Was eating 7 foods. Lost 22 pounds he didn't need to lose. Still bloating after every meal. Still waking up looking 6 months pregnant by dinner The allergist ran a skin prick test. Came back negative for everything. The GI ran an endoscopy and colonoscopy. Both clean. "Must be stress-related." Gave him a prescription for dicyclomine and told him to try yoga Nobody measured intestinal permeability. Nobody checked what was happening between the cells of his gut lining. Nobody even considered that the barrier itself was the problem, not the food passing through it We ran zonulin. Through the roof. His tight junctions were blown open. Every food he ate was triggering an immune response not because the food was the problem but because his gut wall was letting partially digested proteins into his bloodstream where they don't belong. His immune system was attacking food particles like foreign invaders because to his body they WERE foreign invaders The issue wasn't removing more foods. It was fixing the barrier. What we did: Stopped all further food restriction immediately. Reintroduced foods one by one while supporting the gut lining. Bone broth daily for collagen and glycine to support mucosal repair. L-glutamine at therapeutic doses for enterocyte fuel. Removed the actual triggers: chronic undereating, excessive cardio, and 4 cups of coffee on an empty stomach every morning (this mf was basically torturing his gut). Added zinc carnosine for mucosal protection. Restored caloric intake to actual maintenance. He'd been eating 1,600 calories at 185 lbs Within 6 weeks he was eating 30+ foods again. Bloating completely gone. The 7-food prison diet that three doctors endorsed was making him sicker by starving the microbial diversity his gut needed to heal $8,400. 14 months. And the answer was to eat MORE, not less btw if you're carrying a list of "safe foods" on your phone and it keeps getting shorter, your problem probably isn't food sensitivity. Your problem is barrier integrity. I go deep on gut permeability, zonulin, and exactly how to repair barrier function on my substack. link in bio

"Nicotine = nootropic" has become a meme most are using it at a dose WAY too high to have any 'benefit': - speedrunning erectile dysfunction - unlocking new Norwood levels like its Mario - ruining HRV and RHR - cortisolmaxxing going from smoking to Zyns was a terrible idea.

@LouisLibre @IndraVahan you’re a r33tard after looking for more studies icing your balls doesn’t actually increase test + people in hotter climates have higher testosterone so ur whole statement about Vikings just because of colder weather doesn’t mean anything other shit have a bigger factor

@LouisLibre @IndraVahan not really, most Vikings had fire in their homes and tents to keep them warm +ac will make you colder in the summer = cold balls by that sense they should have more test which is why I don’t believeit I think other factors like fighting and diet play a bigger role than cold balls
