We are delighted to announce our New Chair of Trustees, Michael Wade OBE. Michael joins the museum at an exciting time. In the summer, we opened our newly developed galleries as part of our Past Forward project, predominantly supported by the National Lottery Heritage Fund.

Coming Soon! From next Saturday, 30 November, we will have a delightful Nutcracker Trail in the lead up to Christmas. Take part in our trail to solve riddles to find where mischievous elves have hidden the Nutcracker's party supplies! 🤩

Yesterday, we had a fantastic opening event for our latest exhibition; David Ward: The Skylark and the Stones. David treated guests to a reading from Shelley’s poem ‘To a Skylark’, whilst musician Geoffrey Richardson gave a transporting performance to accompany David’s work.
