We loved seeing our meeerl (as it's pronounced in East Yorkshire) on #Winterwatch! Our nature reserves assistant Paul Wray filmed the mole puttering through a very icy North Cave Wetlands reserve in November - it's also a great place to spot bitterns, waders and birds of prey!

For paint stripping, would anyone recommend a sandblaster? I saw @MrGeorgeClarke using one once on beams, it took minutes - but looked like expensive kit. Chisel, muscle and persistence is taking an eternity - some nice Dutch elm underneath hopefully

Staveley Nature Reserve Would love some help with bird identification for the one with the red bill. I was thinking redshank, but the legs aren't really right? Other pictures are wild rats (they were enjoying the seed fall from a bird feeder) and a bunting in the reeds.
