For paint stripping, would anyone recommend a sandblaster? I saw @MrGeorgeClarke using one once on beams, it took minutes - but looked like expensive kit. Chisel, muscle and persistence is taking an eternity - some nice Dutch elm underneath hopefully

Would love some help with bird identification for the one with the red bill. I was thinking redshank, but the legs aren't really right? Other pictures are wild rats (they were enjoying the seed fall from a bird feeder) and a bunting in the reeds.
