As we go to an age where AI is writing more and more, I’ve seen how going back to analogue has reawakened my inner voice and not lean too much on generated ideas.

Of late I often return to my loyal notebook and a pen to write down thoughts instead of my phone or laptop. Although I get frustrated at times, I can’t write faster, and if I do, I just can’t read it anymore; I appreciate the calmness it instils.

Last night, as I woke up, I started writing, pen and paper, with candlelight to guide my pen. My thoughts were quiet, and my writing was slow. I wrote about an event that changed my life recently.

What is an old poem, a text you repeatedly return to that you've memorised and perhaps helps you in good and bad times? One you could recite at this moment without much effort. Maybe, like me, you have more than one than the one that rings true for you now.
