@NUFC7890 100% agree that he is worth the transfer fee. The only stumbling block are his wages. Not sure we can afford to give him a huge wedge at this stage. I really hope we can though. His talent is there for all to see.

Think Newcastle should pay the 40-50 million city want for Trafford. He will be the number one for 10+ years

@lukkin_ahh @MagpieMediaX I mean, that’s a great lineup but maybe a tad optimistic. Ndiaye won’t leave Everton on the cheap. Said El Mala would be cheaper. Mora is also going to be v expensive. I would put Akliouche in the 10 and Mateus Mane as our RW.

@CamNufc20 Completely forgot - Senesi will be on a free so try for him to cover for Thiaw. Also, Harry Wilson is also available on a free. Would be good cover for both wings and that 10.

@CamNufc20 I’ve gone with this. Tried to minimise the number of signings to fit budget. If we could stretch to it, would like another CB to cover Thiaw. Maybe Scalvini. Sell Tino, Sandro, Osula & Murphy. Release Trips & Krath. Not going to happen I know, as EH loves his 433

@Tactx_ I don’t remember what our incomings were under Cashley, but we’re generating more now. Keep making steady progress, boost with sponsorship on new stadium, TG & then sign players we can move on for profit. Eventually we’ll hit the sweet spot. That 1st league will open it all up

@DeadlineDayLive An ideal situation would be either Thuram or Yildiz coming to us and Tonali going to Juve. We would need some cash too, but probably an amount Juve could afford.

🚨 Newcastle United have been given a boost in their bid to keep hold of Italy midfielder Sandro Tonali this summer. Tonali's preference has always been to return to Italy, with one of the big Serie A clubs taking him back to the league. However, it's unlikely that AC Milan or Juventus - his preferred club - will be able to afford the transfer fee. (Source: @talkSPORT)

@Magpie24_7 So we can help ourselves by not having PIF owned clubs buy players from our rivals then right? ……..Right?

🇸🇦 Newcastle have no added benefit selling to Saudi clubs, unlike our rivals!!!!! More anti Newcastle United rules it seems! Newcastle have only sold one player, Allan Saint-Maximin, to a PIF-owned Saudi club since the 2021 takeover. It has raised the question as to why they have not done it more, given the need at various times to sell players. So today Simon Capper was asked 'Do UEFA rules on associated-party player sales stop you doing business with Saudi clubs?' "It doesn't stop us doing business. What it means is if we make a profit, it doesn't count. We sell a player that's worth a pound for £10million and make a profit of £9.999million in the Premier League but make a profit of zero in UEFA. We just don't get a profit." But other clubs benefit from doing business with Saudi? "This is some frustration for us. Our competitors can sell a player to a Saudi club for massive profit and bank that for their various compliance calculations." This is useful in explaining why Newcastle don't sell, for example, Kieran Trippier to a Saudi club for £50m. If Trippier is valued at £10m, that £40m profit counts for nothing in the calculations of financial rules. The frustration is understandable, given rivals have benefited from this. But most would argue it's then on PIF to find other ways to help Newcastle. Have they done enough to push back on spending boundaries? Not when you look at sponsorship opportunities that have not been pursued, plus the ongoing failure to update on a new training ground or stadium. #NUFC #NUFCFans #Nrwcastle

🚨 Yoane Wissa attracting interest Fenerbahçe and Trabzonspor are reportedly interested in a loan with option to buy for the Newcastle forward. Wissa has endured a difficult first season, with just 1 goal in 8 PL appearances since his £55m move from Brentford. He could now leave after just one season — likely at a significant loss, with Newcastle expected to receive around €30m. @NCSL1892 UEFA and PL have different models. UEFA don’t accept the profit made from selling hotels etc. that’s why Chelsea were fined by them last year. Villa too (women’s team in their case)

@El_Cunto76 I believe it allows them to spend money on either expanding SJP or building a new stadium, without the money coming directly from NUFC accounts. It’s an ‘asset’ thing, designed to move money around. Nothing to do with UEFA or PSR from what I can tell. But I’m no expert though 😁

Why did nufc sell the lease of sjp to the PIF if they knew it wasn’t going to make any difference to breaching PSR, which according to some, is the case?

@TheRealSouth25 Yeah I think we would need to sign Thuram and then they sign Tonali. Although UEFA don’t count these sorts of deals towards their financial rules so both teams would need to be careful. It’s doable though.

The clubs that want your players outside the top 6 or England can't afford them. Either you sell Tonali to Juventus for £55m or to Man United for £90m. Both are not favorable for you guys. #nufc #mufc
Dell 🇮🇹@agbnufc_

Maybe I'm in the minority but I just do not accept selling players to the Big 6, you directly strengthen what you're trying to compete with. How can you claim you want to be elite and do that? You do your best to sell to Spanish/German clubs.

@Joshhnufc @NUFC7890 Tino > Kayode or Rico Lewis Tonali > Lamine Camara Gordon > Methalie & Seys Yes, 2 LBs to replace Gordon. I can see Hall absolutely flourishing as a LW. Camara to replace Tonali. Not a like for like but the proper No6 we’ve needed for years. Miley/Bruno/Camara as a midfield 3

Saying losing tino is a serious problem is laughable 😂 good player but he’s very limited in an attacking sense losing Gordon and tonali is more of a blow #nufc

@mcandrew_dale @Magpie24_7 Tbf this isn’t too wide off the mark. 40m ish for each of Trafford and Lewis. The other two wouldn’t be too much further north of 20m for the pair. Take them and maybe 60m in cash. Good value for both clubs.

The silly season is in full force early this year! teamTALK are suggesting that Sandro Tonali and Tino Livramento are wanted by Man City this summer. While the combined market value for these targets is estimated at £190 million, City are supposedly looking for creative ways to lower any cash outlay. To facilitate the move for the Newcastle duo, City are reportedly prepared to offer a massive package of four players in exchange: James Trafford (Goalkeeper) Rico Lewis (Full-back) Issa Kaboré (Full-back) Jumah Bah (Centre-back) It's all hypothetical but what would you make of that deal? 🤔 #NUFC #NUFCNews #Newcastle #EPL #ManCity

@OfficielKaybaye Sandro is a physical player. Players like that don’t feign injuries, they keep going until it’s too late. I don’t believe the injury dross. I do believe we will lose him this summer. Not because he is spoiling for a move, but because we will receive offers too good to turn down.

Dear me some of our fans are the very thickest. There’s plenty games he could have ducked through a feigned injury at points in the season. Mad that some can’t grasp what short term injuries are. Believe it or not slight knocks do exist.
