I've avoided git worktrees for many years — turns out they're pretty cool. See what it's about with ChatGPT in 10 mins with: : “What are worktrees? I need a mental model. Teach me slowly like a tutorial from an empty folder.”

with worktrees, you magically use the same repo underneath, but can look at the files as if you've cloned the repo twice in separate directories

but managing 2 folders like this is a pain. you can use worktrees instead
