The late Duke AD, Tom Butters, arguably the best AD in ACC history, once said ... "A good AD never fires a coach unless he already has a commitment from a better coach." UNC AD Bubba Cunningham should have heeded Tom's advice (relative to firing basketball coach Hubert Davis).

In the most corrupt & fraudulent criminal case in North Carolina history, the infamous "Duke Lacrosse" case, the purported "victim", Crystal Mangum, who ended up going to prison for murdering her boyfriend with a butcher knife, was released from prison this morning in Raleigh.

When asked by a Cambridge student how he generated such engaging speeches, Winston Churchill replied: “A good speech should be like a woman’s skirt ... long enough to cover the subject but short enough to create interest."
