You can waste 200,000 a week in gambling and you can’t invest 8000 naira in a blue tick? Don’t you see how stupid you look?

Sex played two roles in marriage: 1. For procreation of children 2. For intimacy and satisfaction of sexual urge. Do not be deceived, sex goes beyond the procreation of children.

It’s better to invest your money in your account growth than in gambling. In X investment, you’re already seeing people earning without even being a big account, you’ll also connect with new hardworking mutuals In gambling, you only end up depressed asf and mental health gone.

@bisiiii_ When you say it, it was a mistake. So a mistake should not be handled like it was an intentional act.

I understand why that analogy feels compelling, but it doesn’t accurately represent what the Genesis account is actually saying. First, the man and the woman in the garden are not portrayed as helpless children with no understanding. In the Bible, they are given a clear command and the capacity to obey it. They are not deceived about the consequence either. The instruction was direct and understandable. So the situation is less like a child with no awareness, and more like morally responsible beings given a real choice. Second, the serpent is not introduced as something God wants them to interact with, nor as something necessary for their survival. The presence of the serpent highlights something essential: without the possibility of disobedience, there is no meaningful obedience. Love and trust, by nature, must be freely chosen. A world where humans cannot choose wrongly is also a world where they cannot truly choose rightly. Third, the issue in the story is not simply “touching something forbidden.” It is a deeper act of distrust and autonomy, choosing to define good and evil independently of God. The act represents a shift from dependence on God to self-rule. That is why the consequence is not arbitrary punishment, but a breakdown in the relationship that was meant to sustain life. Fourth, regarding the idea of descendants being affected, the biblical view is that humanity is interconnected. Just as choices in one generation can shape the conditions of the next in everyday life, the fall describes a foundational rupture that affects the whole human condition. It is less about individual blame being transferred, and more about a broken state that all are born into. Finally, the story does not end with judgment alone. From the same narrative onward, there is a trajectory toward restoration. The Christian claim is that God does not leave humanity in that broken state but moves toward redemption. So rather than a careless father setting a trap, the account presents a Creator giving real freedom, a meaningful command, and then working toward restoration after that freedom is misused.

The story of the fall in the garden of eden is an incredibly stupid story. It’s like a father who puts their child in a room with a venomous snake, then tells the child not to touch or go near the snake, knowing fully well that the child has absolutely no understanding of the consequences of touching the snake and then seriously punishing the child and all the child’s descendants that have absolutely nothing to do with the initial event, for being bitten by the snake. And then calling the father all loving and good. No story ever written is more stupid.

Other heresies made the opposite mistake not dividing too much, but oversimplifying. Monophysitism reduced Christ to one nature. But if He is not fully human, He cannot truly represent us. And if He is not fully God, He cannot redeem us. Pelagianism teaches that humans can be righteous without grace. It sounds empowering, but it ignores the depth of sin. Christianity teaches that salvation is not human effort, but divine grace. Gnosticism and Docetism rejected the physical world and denied Christ’s real humanity. But the Christian message is that God entered the world and redeemed it, not avoided it. So what do we see? Heresies often take one part of the truth and stretch it, while ignoring the rest. But Christianity holds the full picture: * Jesus is fully God and fully man * God is one, yet three Persons * Salvation is by grace, not human effort Heresies try to simplify the mystery. But in doing so, they reduce the gospel. Truth may not always be simple but it remains consistent.
