Hated by the legacy 4, the oil clubs, the rest of the league, the PGMOL, current refs, past refs, the PL, commentators, media, former players, ex managers, sponsors, betting companies, hated for winning, losing, scoring and conceding. #Spurs #THFC #COYS #TTID

@henrywinter Not a nod, a homage to Romero who we’ll defend to the end from people like you trying to perpetuate old fashioned. out dated stereotypes.

Spurs fans preparing noon coach meet to greet their players. Drummer, chants, megaphone etc in “all together, always” message, a nod to Romero. Those involved in organising saw how Everton fans met their players off the bus to inspire them during relegation battles. #TOTNFO

Transparency International, the anti corruption body, lists three key conditions where corruption flourishes: 1. Large sums of money ✅ 2. Weak independent oversight ✅ 3. A culture where scrutiny is treated as a threat rather than a safeguard ✅

@1882_Tottenham We should use the same defence. “Cheat” means “Compete” in Croatian. Lost in translation, no case to answer.

@TalkTHFC__ When they stated they wanted to “compete on every front” and then appointed a guy who had never competed on any front it was clear it was a hope and a prayer.

@Paul_da_Rita @UEFAcom Has all that performative hand waving when they took ages on the throw and then pointing to his watch for every goal kick to award basically just the time for the subs made at the end.

Hey @UEFAcom it seems your referee for the Spurs v Atletico game has lost his watch - at least I presume that’s why he can’t account for all the wasted time?

@Billie_T As a fanbase, we won’t be taking any more media thoughts on who should take over in summer, they can sit that discussion out. They got their man and he was diabolical. Got it wrong with Ange and Tudor too.

The difference in fitness levels alone should mean that Thomas Frank never gets a top level job again, the fuck was he doing all season. Media have been giving it both barrels to Tudor let’s see that mentioned

@chrisTHFC13 @Mrjamieohara1 I cannot believe the way this clown treats our players, every single one of them who is miles clear of him and we still got behind him.

Tottenham fans need not despair. I sat in Ian Herbert’s basement bedroom and can confirm I was surrounded by the stench of rancid pot noodles, crusty Margaret Thatcher photographs and a sense of failure so profound that no amount of clickbait articles could ever hope to remove it
Daily Mail Sport@MailSport

Nottingham Forest need not despair. I sat with the Tottenham fans at Anfield and Richarlison's goal should fool no one - it was a joyless pit of frustration and naked fury at how hollow Igor Tudor and his team are trib.al/CkLvwj7

@henrywinter @kca0027 It’s quite simple Henry they were happy to allow Chelsea to spend millions bringing the most expensive and talented players to the league becuse the PL brand benefits with an improved product and higher audience. The other clubs did not do that.

At some point, senior Premier League execs have to offer a proper explanation in public for their leniency towards Chelsea. They owe an explanation to fans of clubs punished more harshly. They owe an explanation to those clubs who did abide by the rules. They have to offer some explanation as to why PSR breaches are deemed far more serious than acts of "deception and concealment". Yes, these are the offences of a previous regime at Chelsea. But inconsistencies run through the PL's defence and their reputation is damaged. They can’t hide from a controversy of this magnitude.

@Ramon_Vega71 @premierleague Probably not as overseas tv money is covering for the stagnation of domestic rights, which plateaued in 2016. And clubs spend on the assumption that tv money stays the same or goes up. Tv money going down would be a big problem for the PL and all the clubs.

@Ramon_Vega71 @premierleague So actually this season will do well money wise for viewers with a big 5 team near the bottom and no runaway title. Jeopardy and anyone can beat anyone are brand pillars for the premier league. Whether they would want to lose a chunk of those overseas viewers next season,

Do you think the @premierleague is worried that Spurs might be relegated? If you consider the 115 Charges of Man City, is Man City more commercially valuable for the PL broadcast rights to protect them? What impact does this have not only on the club but also on the PL? Or is Spurs a small club with no significant impact?

I used to think Levy sacking managers every 2 years was holding us back, now I think it might the only thing keeping us afloat. Suck out their energy then bin them when they start seeing the truth.

@jonhotspur1988 They think it would be a one season holiday. They don’t remember teams like Coventry, Bradford, Wimbledon, Sheffield Wednesday etc that went down and never came back.

I’m really surprised by how many “I hope we go down” type tweets I’ve seen. I know a lot of it is probably fueled by emotion but still, it would be catastrophic! Surely your love of the club comes before any hatred you may have of players, managers, board members, owners?
