I firmly believe that players nowadays don’t love the game enough, they love what the game can provide for them. It should hurt to lose a football match, it would ruin my weekend if i lost, also players will find any excuse to not play a game. i’ve played with all types of niggles. i’ve even played 24hrs after having a seizure because all i wanted to do was help out my team and felt as a captain it was my duty to be out there on that pitch’s Nothing was stopping me from playing!
