The Government of #India has increased the import duty on #lentils to 55% (includes the 10% tax) effective immediately😬. India's previous import duty for lentils was 33%. USA origin lentils will have a 70% duty.

@Biztang Not sure...increased imports of lentils into India over last few months from what I have read. Assume trying to keep the price up in India.
