@BradfemlyWalsh Same happened to my grandma every time she went to hospital. She ignored anyone using her first name assuming they meant one of the other old dears. I’ll never understand why it was such a struggle to get them to use the middle name she’d been known as her entire life.

My elderly dad is in hospital fighting a nasty UTI. Every day, a nurse has spoken to my mum about his 'senility'. My dad is not senile. What's happening is that he's always been known by his middle name and they keep calling him by his first so he doesn't respond . FOR FUCKSAKE.

Boggles my mind that airlines split families. Pay extra to choose your seat - window, aisle, whatever. But when a family books, block off their group. Endangering children & pissing off childfree adults for however much profit that nets doesn’t seem like good business to me 🤷🏼♀️

Every time I post about our family getting split up on a flight I’m told I didn’t pay enough for our seats or book far enough in advance. But this is what Macaulay Culkin just posted. It should not be legal for airlines to split up kids and parents on the same reservation.

I have flu, which had begun to get better till I picked up an ear infection at the weekend. I just need someone to look at my ear and prescribe treatment; I don’t need to sit in A&E all day potentially infecting people with life-threatening illness or injury with the fucking flu!

Just figured out why our A&Es are in constant crisis. Can’t just request an appointment with your GP anymore, you fill out a questionnaire online & when you say at the end you want an appointment it tells you you need to go to A&E or wait 48hrs for them to get back to you…
