Homeless people are homeless because they want to be homeless. When I worked in the food service industry I knew a guy who was homeless, started out on the lowest rung and worked his way up to manager, got a car and an apartment, all within a 12-16 month period. He had some anger management issues, not a perfectly well rounded guy. But he didnt want to be in the situation he was in, he took advantage of the few opportunities he had, and he got out of it. Homeless people either want to be homeless or are too far gone to ever truly be helped.
