We need to sell to buy, and can’t sell because players were given ridiculous wages under the previous regime. Our budget is limited because of constant bad decisions from the previous regime. This isn’t INEOS’ fault. They’re still cleaning up the mess the Glazers made. #mufc

Genuine question: Why are Man Utd going for Liam Delap when we obviously need a proven goalscorer? We spent a combined £100m on then 21-year-old Rasmus Hojlund and 23-year-old Joshua Zirkzee, only to get a combined SIX league goals from them both, and now we're pursuing 22-year-old Liam Delap from relegated Ipswich?? Do we ever learn?? Make it make sense.
