Currently rewatching Scream VI. I said this when the movie came out, but this shrine sequence just doesn’t hit the same without Sidney. The impact it would have had on her would’ve been insane. Aside from Gale, nobody in that room really understood what they were seeing fully.

The dumb part is that they didn’t make Deputy Judy and Wes the secret lover/lovechild of Billy Loomis. IMO, that’s where Wes was headed if he got to make Scream 5 & 6…. Instead we get this girl Melissa who can’t even act and we never even meet her mom. Would have been so much cooler for Billy’s love child to be revealed as the killer in Act 3. The direction spyglass took was uninspired and lame as hell.
