SCREAMS a job for the boys. There is no doubt we are gambling here with people’s lives and careers. How on earth we can put our football league status in the hands of a bloke who has been coaching kids is beyond me. We may well stay up, but this appointment at this time? Christ.

@samgadsdon Appreciate that, Sam. Maybe, next time we can seek out some more female fans to apply who we can vote for. We have lots of female fans who may just have needed a nudge. Happy to help with that in the future.

With all due respect to the 9 male candidates who are on the voting list and I know they all have good attributes but it would have been great to have at least 1 female supporter, on the list, to vote for.

@CarolBates Hopefully the board turns out to be a real success and we get more female supporters apply at the next opportunity. Appreciate this is all very new, and we need to prove that this can be a positive and beneficial way for the club to work with the fans.

@CarolBates Hi Carol, I completely agree. Unfortunately, we only had one female supporter apply. This is why as a club, along with the FSA, agreed that Victoria should bypass the voting stage. As mentioned in the article, we felt it was very important to have a female representative.
