This is probably the first time I've shared a demo of what @iamsamsaifi and I are building... and I'm so excited 😬 → Generate ecommerce email designs in seconds

Magicals v0.4 is nearing completion. We’ve found a sweet spot between human and AI generated design that we think is very effective. We’re moving design from run time to build time. More soon.

When google maps first came out it allowed us to explore any city on earth. The first thing we did was explore the street outside our house. With AI now allowing us to learn anything and be whoever we want to be, the first thing we are doing is creating a clone of ourselves.

seems obvious but: things that are changing rapidly: 1. context windows 2. intelligence / ability to reason within context 3. performance on any given benchmark 4. cost per token things that are not changing much: 1. humans 2. human behavior, preferences, affinities 3. tools, integrations, infrastructure 4. single core cpu performance therefore, ngmi: 1. "i found this method to cut 15% context" 2. "our method improves retrieval performance 10% by using hybrid search" 3. "our finetuned model is cheaper than opus at this benchmark" 4. "our harness does this better because we invented this multi agent system" 5. "we're building a memory system" 6. "context graphs" 7. "we trained an in house specialized rl model to improve task performance in X benchmark at Y% cost reduction" wagmi: 1. product/ui 3. customer acquisition 4. integrations 5. fast linting, ci, skills, feedback for agents 6. background agent infra to parallelize more work 7. speed up your agent verification loops 8. training your users, connecting to their systems and working with their data, meeting them where they are

.@eliehabib's worldmonitor[dot]app is good but its map is not detailed enough a lot of us have family and friends in Tehran that is currently getting severely hit here's a more detailed rundown of locations that have been in struck in Tehran with guidance on what has been confirmed, likely struck and unverified DISCLAIMER: this map is a snapshot, not a live feed. the conflict is actively evolving with new strike waves expected. locations may be upgraded, downgraded, or added as new information emerges. if you have information about a strike not listed here, please use the "Suggest a Location" button to submit it for verification.
Elie Habib@eliehabib

🌍Long day for worldmonitor[.app] Sad news all in all, I hope it ends asap But you all are monitoring the situation pretty well ! Unbelievable record traffic, thank you all ! Built a lot (I need sleep), and tell you what I built: 1. Tracking of all attacks across all countries

everyone's talking about their teams like they were at the peak of efficiency and bottlenecked by ability to produce code here's what things actually look like - your org rarely has good ideas. ideas being expensive to implement was actually helping - majority of workers have no reason to be super motivated, they want to do their 9-5 and get back to their life - they're not using AI to be 10x more effective they're using it to churn out their tasks with less energy spend - the 2 people on your team that actually tried are now flattened by the slop code everyone is producing, they will quit soon - even when you produce work faster you're still bottlenecked by bureaucracy and the dozen other realities of shipping something real - your CFO is like what do you mean each engineer now costs $2000 extra per month in LLM bills

tensghost: hardware health visualiser if like me you find hardware intimidating i created this 8-bit tamagotchi with a ghost character whose health state changes based on the performance this demo is inspired by "tensix cores" the physical hardware units that do the work inside @tenstorrent's chips optimised for AL/ML workloads to make them work, tenstorrent uses the RISC-V open source standard

Man the big difference I’ve felt with Opus 4.6 over Opus 4.5 is the attention to coding style. It’s really paying attention to how I write code and sticking to it. Changes are more like incisions now.

Code length doesn't matter anymore if you're not writing it, as long as it's readable. The type of work in engineering has shifted from simple ideas for simple implementation to complex and ambitious ideas that, when thoroughly planned out, are easy to implement using an LLM.

Rush the MVP to validate and cover costs, then slow down to build something extraordinary. Too slow on MVP, you reach the end of your runway, both mentally and financially. Too fast post break even, you’re not thinking innovative enough.
