Why should the President appoint the INEC Chairman? This is fundamentally wrong. It makes the Commission dependent on the very person they’re supposed to hold accountable and makes credible elections impossible. The President should NOT be appointing the INEC Chairman. As long as INEC depends on the President, credible elections in Nigeria are a fantasy.

ACCEPTANCE SPEECH BY MR. PETER OBI FOLLOWING HIS NOMINATION AS THE PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE OF THE NIGERIAN DEMOCRATIC CONGRESS(NDC) – MAY 30, 2026 Protocols, Esteemed citizens of Nigeria, It is with deep humility that I accept the role of presidential candidate for our party. I express my profound gratitude to the leaders of our party. His Excellency Seriake Dickson, the National Chairman, National Secretary and the National Working Committee, NWC members and members of our relentless supporters, and the Nigerian populace who have steadfastly kept the spirit of hope alive. I commend those who have made the journey from every region of our nation to convene here in Abuja. I wish to assert unequivocally: a New Nigeria is Possible. This conviction has united us; it must serve as our compass on the challenging road ahead and sustain us through all trials we may face. This pivotal moment transcends the individual ambitions of Peter Obi; it concerns the essence of our nation and the future of our children. It is about rekindling hope for millions who have faced adversity yet remain committed to Nigeria. Today, our nation finds itself at a crucial juncture, enveloped in uncertainty. Families are anxious about their safety; parents are concerned for their children's futures; and talented youth increasingly question their prospects in their homeland. Businesses are struggling, communities are suffering, and an alarming number of citizens have lost faith in the very concept of governance. Yet, I stand before you filled with optimism and strong faith in the resilience of our people, for I firmly believe that a New Nigeria is possible. UNITY To realise this New Nigeria, we must first mend the foundational elements essential for the success of any nation. Nigeria cannot advance while fragmented by ethnic, religious, regional, or narrow political divides. We may communicate in different languages and practise diverse faiths, but we share a singular destiny under one flag. Our diversity should not be a source of division; rather, it is among our greatest strengths. We should build bridges where others erect barriers, replace mistrust with confidence, division with understanding, and resentment with a collective purpose. A united Nigeria is indispensable. As Will Durant wisely pointed out, "A great civilisation is not conquered from without until it has destroyed itself from within." We must never self-destruct. We must heal, unify, and progress together. INSECURITY In terms of security, the situation in Nigeria has considerably worsened. The global terrorism impact assessments ranked Nigeria as the 8th most affected nation in 2022, 6th in 2024, and 4th in 2026. Yet, for many years, Nigeria garnered global recognition as a reliable contributor to peacekeeping, regional stabilisation, and conflict resolution. Our troops have not only displayed bravery but have also shown professionalism, discipline, resilience, and empathy in the most challenging operational contexts. Our officers and personnel have successfully commanded multiple international forthe ces, safeguarded vulnerable civilian populations, monitored ceasefires, reinstated constitutional order, and contributed to rebuilding efforts. Nigeria became one of the leading contributors of troops from Africa to UN peacekeeping missions and earned widespread admiration for operational effectiveness and leadership in various countries, including Rwanda, Sudan, Liberia, Sierra Leone, Mali, Western Sahara, Congo, Lebanon, Cambodia, Haiti, and Kuwait. At one pointin a Nigeria, Lt. General Isaac Obiakor (rtd) even led global peacekeeping initiatives. We must address insecurity with resolve and urgency, for no nation can thrive while its citizens live in trepidation. The primary responsibility of the government is to ensure the safeguarding of lives and property.

This a true, verified quote, and an accurate representation of what was done during 30 months between 1967-1970. Some 3 million were starved to death, mostly children. The same powers who did this then control Nigeria to this day. This is genocide. #EarthShaker

UPDATE: This update is necessitated by the well-orchestrated lies/blackmail that it was myself (and the legal team) that ‘took MAZI NNAMDI KANU’s case back to court for trial’. It is an abomination that these lies and blackmail came from those who knew the gospel truth because they were directly involved in the case. Now, as you can see from the 1st screenshot, it was the Supreme Court that overturned or reversed the “discharge” of #MNK and ordered that the case be taken back to trial when it held as follows (and I quote): “In the final result, I find merit in this appeal and allow it. In consequence wherefore, the judgment of the Court of Appeal delivered on the 13th October, 2022 in the Respondent’s Appeal No. CA/ABJ/CR/625/2022, striking out the counts 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 8 and 15 of the charges in question and DISCHARGING the Respondent is hereby set aside in its entirety and it is ordered that the trial court shall proceed with the trial of the Respondent …”. For avoidance of doubt, the Respondent referred to here is #MNK. And regarding the false and strange claim of “discharged & acquitted”, you can see from the above quotation that the Supreme Court used only the word ‘DISCHARGE’, not “discharged & acquitted”. Why? Because the Court of Appeal only discharged MNK but did not acquit him as the lies fed to the public claimed. Anybody that wants to see the Court of Appeal judgment where it only discharged MNK should indicate so in the comment section, and I will post it as a reply or in new post. And this: The Supreme Court is the highest court in Nigeria, higher than the Court of Appeal. So, when it set aside, reversed or overturned the judgment of the Court of Appeal, that’s final. And nobody, not even the almighty Federal Government, can go against it. Even laymen who are not lawyers know this. So, why? Now, you can see how absurd it sounds when some persons who knew better and knew the truth concocted the false allegation that myself and the legal team are the ones that took MNK’s case back to court for trial. And this: From the 2nd screenshot, you can see all the Lawyers that represented #MNK at the Supreme Court when it delivered the judgment. Pay particular attention to the yellow highlights and judge for yourselves where the truth lies. It’s said that “conscience is an open wound. It is only the truth that can heal it.” Finally, let me say this: I kept silent all these while because I decided that silence is golden in the circumstance (for the protection of MNK/#IPOB and their open cases, as opposed to what the liars and the blackmailers were doing deliberately & recklessly). Now, I have broken my silence, because times have changed and things have gone south badly. So, the gloves are off. And there is much more to come (in defense of the truth). If you doubt anything I said here, ask Google, @Grok or any of the AI tools available to you for free. You can also any lawyer you know. They will all bear me witness. Thank you. #AloyEjimakor.

I don't know if Nigerians understands that business doesn't run on emotions but pure proof and evidence. Why will someone DM me with his life story instead of a portfolio or evidence. Anyway I've gotten enough persons for now. If I get more accounts I'll be sure to let the remaining persons know
