@heydebigale Feel this! I was walking my dog the other day on the sidewalk and these two bikers didn’t warn they were coming behind us. My dog turned and almost got her feet ran over 😔 I’m not totally opposed to biking on sidewalks when it’s unsafe, but ya gotta warn pedestrians!

Okay earnest question: how do we inform the general public (who drive vehicles) about best practices around cycling? My husband just biked home & got yelled at for *checks notes* biking in a bike lane. The driver yelled, “learn how to bike on the sidewalk, idiot” #BikeDenver

I generally advise PhDs to assume they have enough education & credentials for great jobs. Now, if you're absolutely set on working as a lawyer or librarian or etc. then yes, of course, you'll likely need a specific other degree. But know that you have many other great options.
