@thisisxekik @BasedFrogReal @TheQuartering I know and I was super strict with it for 8-9 weeks with 0 change. I'm on week 15? Lost count. There's been no change still except I've added 1 cheat day a week now. Gonna do some blood work.

@sammitdam @BasedFrogReal @TheQuartering Find your BMR and track your actual caloric burn. Then subtract 500cal from your intake. Drinks are a major source of hidden calories

@BasedFrogReal @TheQuartering I am, because I log everything I eat. Even if I'm off a little I'm definitely under 2k calories a day. I'm a chef, I know I'm burning at least 1500 calories during a 10-12 hour shift.

@sammitdam @TheQuartering Whether you’re conscious of it or not, you’re not being honest about your caloric intake. Calories in/calories out is absolutely definitively scientifically proven with no qualifiers

@BasedFrogReal @TheQuartering I've been carb and sugar free for 14 weeks and haven't lost a pound. Then reduced my caloric intake to 1500 or less for 8 of those weeks, no weight loss. Just a natural fatty.

There are literally billions of people on planet earth who eat carbohydrates (including as the primary staple of their diet) and are a healthy weight. Not only is keto unnecessary, I consider it counterproductive - a diet needs to be easily sustainable over the long-term, and keto is incredibly difficult no matter what the apologists say
