@sammy_38 Ah bless him. We know some lovely staffies. They are fantastic dogs. Unfortunately they often get a bad rep due to their popularity with the hard man wanna be gangster types.

@scepticalmonk This is bailey, a staffy with a tumour so nobody wanted him, he's a failed Foster, apparently he was a escape artist and one time his old owners never came bk to collect him, but I can tell they weren't nice to him, he can't stand loud noises or shouting

@sammy_38 Dog theft is now rife with them being so high value. Our other dog Hilda was rescued by a vet at 4mths old. Brought in with broken leg by some traveler kids. No money so asked to put her to sleep. He fixed her up and we were later asked if we'd like to take her on.

@scepticalmonk No wonder so many are stolen 😪 there isn't many under £2000 and that's for a cross breed, I remember being able to get a puppy for £25, so glad we adopted our old boy 🥰

@sammy_38 All gone up massively this year. Mrs Spannerhands saw some lurcher pups for sale and couldn't believe the price. Then started looking into other breeds. We paid £200 for Meg 3yrs ago. All kinds of undesirables breeding dogs now to cash in.😡

This time last year I weighed just shy of 18 and a half stone, this morning I weighed in at just under 12 and a half .... 5lbs to go to my target, this is one if the biggest achievements of my life.... also I now have flappy skin where my belly was
