@SammyWinemaker ⬆️Yes!! When my mother’s PCP reached out and suggested she was palliative I remember the very word sent me reeling. Reality was that she had been palliative for quite a while. It’s not a bad thing at all but earlier education leads to very different conversations.

@SammyWinemaker Truth! and I say this as a patient. The radiologist who took 14 needle biopsies of my thyroid didn't have the gumption to tell me that the mass looked malignant even knowing that I was a physician. I try my best to be kind and truthful with my patients.
