@bbjess Personally I don’t see the point of it. Viewers see the actual chat in realtime, but I guess it can be useful for clips to show what’s going on in chat after a stream.

when it comes to IRL streams- do you prefer when a streamer has chat showing on screen? (i assume most streamers who have chat on screen have it so they can read chat on that device instead of having a second phone to read chat)

@RageDarling Multistreaming fixes platform dependency. TikTok can fix discoverability issues on Twitch/YouTube, and streaming to YouTube can help watch hours for partner. On TikTok you’ve got multiple monetisation paths like the creator fund, TikTok One, shop, subs, gifts, live campaigns.

Does multistreaming actually see benefits that outweigh the negatives? For the longest time I've stayed away from streaming on multiple platforms even after the "ban" was lifted from Twitch. I'm concerned that there's no real benefit to gain from the effort of going live on multiple platforms (performance on the PC, initial setup, monitoring of chats, etc). I'm curious to see if creators find it worth their time or not?

Most creators aren’t failing because of content quality. They’re failing because they’re building on rented land with no strategy. If your only income is platform payouts, you have a dependency. Build multiple income streams that don’t rely on a single platform.

@PHATTPANTZ @DreamHack Definitely was like the good old days of Insomnia! Great to see so many big brands backing it like Xbox, Logitech, Razer, Samsung and many more. Main difference id say is it had more esports and less artists and small stores.

Must admit @DreamHack looks wild. Not really been following what's happening with events for a year or so but might just put this on the list if it's stopping in the UK and coming back next year. Good to see a big event at the NEC as well.
