Currently at 27% of body fat (26% 7-day avg), down from 31%. Nailed fat loss at this stage and losing fat steadily while gaining muscle. Know exactly what to do and not to do. What I do: - 1h of walking first thing when I wake up - Weight lifting every second day (in addition to walking) What I eat (1800ish cals - 220g prot) : - 4 eggs + 1 tbsp of extra virgin olive oil - 300g of chicken breast for lunch + 150g of white rice (and maybe veggies) - 300g of chicken breast post workout - 60g of protein whey shake What I don't do: - no alchohol - no takeaway food as a main source of food - no change of diet or habits Why: - 4 eggs for breakfast: the days I don't start the day with high protein breakfast then 99% I will mess up my diet on that day due to cravings. Also tastes great. - Chicken breast: dead simple and cheap to find everywhere in the world. I cook it on the air fryer and it's protein on auto-pilot. - Protein whey: trying to finish the bag rn. I don't like requiring a huge bag of protein laying around everywhere I go (ie travel) but then again cant beat the dietary utility. Alternative needed. - 1h of walk every day: I added this recently to my fat loss arsenal and it's magical. Before this I would lose fat but at a MUCH slower pace. - Rice: There was a point I started losing muscle and energy at the gym. So I experimented with carbs. After adding rice I feel great again and can push hard at the gym again. Not sure if it is the carbs or the extra calories, but it works. - no alchohol: When I drink, I want to eat. When I want to eat after drinking I eat a LOT. Not worth it. Also messes up my next day which I'd rather focus on my goals instead. - no takeaway food as a main source of food: ever since I decided to just do home cook, everything was much simpler. Cravings died out. Much easier to stick to diet. I don't get why. After I do take away I always want to eat more (ie 2 tacos at taco-bell). Am I ordering the 'wrong' stuff? Who knows. It doesn't help with what I want to achieve, so it's out. I might still get a burger (no sides) every second week or so as long as it fits the cal budget, but I see this as a pleasure/feel good thing than 'food'. - no change of diet or habits: this took me a good while to 'get' it. I kept changing things that I knew worked (ie my diet). But for some reason I kept changing it for a 'better' one. When I sticked to 'a' diet that worked, everything was much simpler. I applied the same thing to my daily habits (ie work out or where I work) that affect my food intake too. In other words, I am sticking to what works and keep doing it over and over again consistently.

After the full day of fast, I stopped ordering takeaways and started cooking at home. Dramatically helped with cravings. Much easier to control what I eat. At this stage i've decided to stop eating and drinking out, because it just sets me back from reaching a healthy body fat %.
