Happy to see so many people thronging to @bookworm_Kris this weekend ♥️
I went and bought some books. Saw a boy and girl hit it off at the store. Not a bad place to find a match I would say. I hope more people visit and bookworm bounces back fast. I cannot imagine living in a city without a bookstore.

@GabbbarSingh This was absolutely brilliant Abhishek. Very well covered a host of emotions.

And then the offsprings visit, with their family. Literally a guilt trip. The parents reassure “We are totally fine, the neighbour’s son takes care during emergencies” The son was desperately waiting for this token line. Heaves a sigh of relief. Neighbour’s son is preparing for UPSC.
The home is where family photo albums are. Physical. Hard bound. Where you have to peel off pages to reveal your childhood. Then those albums are kept back in those Godrej almirahs. For the next visit. Maybe.
It will take the kid sometime to merge with the silence. To acclimatise himself with this permanent afternoon. But there is not enough time. The flight back is Sunday night. Mother will pack some mathri maybe. The kitchen will chime for a bit. Then back to silence.

If you have to smell old age, go visit an old couple living in a house, with their kids settled in other parts of the world.
The house is a museum, the dressing table is older than their kids age. No matter what time of the day, it’s always afternoon in the house. Quiet. Parents trying to trick their grandkids into talking to them on WhatsApp video, giving up, then covertly asking their offspring when will she pay a visit. No pressure. “Office is hectic” they understand. They keep the phone aside & sleep off. The Panchang calendar on the wall still shows last month, no urgency to turn it over. It’s the silence of an empty nest, broken only by the second hand of the wall clock. Almost ticking towards inevitability.

@GabbbarSingh I don't think it's anything that complicated. Simply put this wicket was akin to a cemented surface. Not much any captain or team can do. It's a gamble at best and you pray that Bumrah delivers as he did.

@Deadlykalesh That is all it takes for a life to end in India. Honestly there is no defending this country anymore. We are beyond saving. No point romanticizing the concept of India. We have had almost 80 years of independence and we are none the wiser. Simple pedestrian crossing was needed.

@TechWiser Removable batteries. Elongates life of a device so much.

@letsblinkit Hi. I have raised this officially via the app. The order was taken back by the delivery personnel and I was issued a refund.

@letsblinkit @BlueTokaiCoffee
This is how products are getting sold in Blinkit. I can only imagine what is the quality and condition of fresh items being sold.

Gurgaon’s land was once part of the Sahibi river basin, with natural depressions and jheels (seasonal lakes) serving as catchments. As real estate exploded in the 1990s, many of these were built over or encroached, cutting off natural drainage channels. Greedy developers, greased by payoffs, pushed through projects with no regard for norms.
Back in our architecture college in Gurgaon (circa 1994), it was a passing joke that this city would one day become a sewage version of Venice.
And here we are. #GurgaonRains

@grok @grootgp @user_oo_00 @priteshlakhani @chiragbarjatya That's what I do. Factory reset. Overwrite storage and then factory reset again.
That should definitely work in my opinion.
English

On modern Android phones (Android 6+), factory reset discards encryption keys, making direct data recovery nearly impossible without backups or advanced forensic tools. However, remnants might be extractable in rare cases if the device wasn't fully encrypted.
To prevent: Enable encryption (Settings > Security), remove Google accounts, back up what you need, then factory reset. For extra security, use apps like "Secure Erase" to overwrite storage before resetting.

@nypost This is the most American argument ever. He can't bench so he must be bad at every other thing that he does which has remotely nothing to do with with prowess in the gym. Logic suffers tragic death in USA by the minute.
