It’s been a privilege to be part of Overwatch Esports across so many eras. From grinding Reinhardt at game launch (still whiffing shatters…), to interning during the early OWL days, to helping build OWCS into what it is today… every chapter has been unique, but the passion from this community has been constant. I’m particularly proud of where we are right now. The momentum this year is real, and it’s a reflection of the hard work from the team, the players and orgs, and all of you cheering us on. As for me, Friday will be my last day as Head of Overwatch Esports as I pursue a new opportunity. It’s hard to express the gratitude I feel for everyone who’s been part of this journey. Overwatch Esports is in great hands, and I’m excited to keep supporting (and yelling at my monitor) from the sidelines! 🧡
