There was a LOT of contact on second and third down by Houston, especially after that DPI was called on Baylor in the Redzone. Especially third down, defender got there early.

Baylor managed to spoil probably the coolest uniform look of the season. Those gold chromes with the green… So awesome. Such a shame that’s how they went out.

Sawyer Robertson’s first 6 games: 343 YPG, 19 TD, 4 INT Sawyer Robertson’s final 6 games: 270 YPG, 12 TD, 8 INT He faded down the stretch, missed so many throws, and couldn’t make it happen in big moments. Combine that with bad coaching and play calling… Oof.

Baylor didn’t deserve to win that game, but the refs made sure they had no shot. Unbelievable, one-sided calls downfield all day. Brutal.

I can’t tell if Houston is really that fundamentally sound or if the refs just want them to win this game… Shockingly few penalties called on them in critical moments.

That DPI call was weak given what happened to Cameron earlier. Total bailout.

@mcbaylor the biggest impact will be seen after he’s gone. Baylor will have to ask their new hires and new team to dig out of a recruiting, talent, fan engagement and donor hole.

I think the depressing part is that this is as good as it’s gonna be while Aranda is still here (and we see how that’s going). The talent isn’t gonna be getting any better…
