Idk why twt has been full of vegan discourse but while being *vegetarian* is definitely less expensive than eating meat, as someone who isnt even vegan but instead like 99% dairy free those differences in price for vegan butter, milk, ice cream and cheese will drive you insane.

Here’s what I will say as someone who has been vegetarian for 9 years and more or less vegan for 3-ish: It is pretty easy to reduce your animal product consumption by 80% if you’re the average westerner. Please at least do that.
