Hey, I'm Sanchitha. EC grad, tier 3 college, 2024. Attempted GATE twice. Failed both times. Entrance exams are not my thing. Learnt that the hard way. So I switched paths. I'm going into software development. MERN stack. Where I stand right now: → No DSA → Don't know Git or GitHub → Know HTML, CSS, JS — the basics everyone knows Honest? Not an impressive list. I've wanted to build in public for months. Social anxiety kept stopping me. But everything is already going sideways. What's the worst that can happen? So I'm just doing it. 3 posts a week. I said I'd be consistent. Turns out it's harder than it sounds. Three things I've noticed about myself: 1. I jump between topics instead of finishing one 2. If today's progress is less than yesterday's, I call it a ailed day 3. I burn out hard, then quit cold That changes now, not with big promises, but with tiny goals. Continuing from Day 16 tomorrow. Day 11 of upskilling 🛠️ DSA update: did 3 easy problems on arrays + 2 pointers ✅ yesterday i realised where the gap is... i can understand what the question is asking, that part's fine. but in 2 pointers I fail to recognise whether it's opposite direction or same direction different speed, sooo yeahhh... gonna work on that and solve more problems around it React update: continuing as usual🚀 not the deepest session but heyy!! found the gap and that's half the battle. letss gooo!!! 🔥 #100DaysOfCode #DSA #LeetCode #ReactJS #upskilling

Day 10 of upskilling🛠️ busy day so not much but still showed up git update: continued from yesterday, went through the basic commands. slowly getting the hang of it DSA update: Move Zeroes down ✅ attempted 3Sum… bro that problem said no to me today 😭 carrying it to tomorrow. not my best day but not zero either. done is done letss gooo!!! 🔥

Day 9 of upskilling 🛠️ React hooks update: worked on useState and useEffect in the project i'm building to understand react hooks properly. these are the two concepts i focused on today 🤝 DSA update: 2 mediums down today -> Reverse Integer and Remove Duplicates from Sorted Array II. took me almost 2 hours but worth it ig. git & github update: officially started today. better late than vibes-only 😄 letss gooo!!! #buildinpublic #100DaysOfCode #reactjs

Day 8 of upskilling and things are clicking 🔥 📌 DSA : dived into searching algorithms, understood the concepts and got my hands dirty with LeetCode. 📌 React : went deep into props. Built stuff using both class components and functional components to feel the difference hands-on. Went back to basics today too. Revision is underrated. Consistency > motivation. Days 6 & 7 of my journey Continued grinding through React Hooks -useEffect, useCallback, custom hooks… it's slowly clicking. Also kicked off LeetCode on day 6. Day 4 : The grind isn't always glamorous. Today I went deep on two weak spots: ⚛️ React Hooks -> built a small project just to force myself to understand them ⏳ async/await in Node.js -> turns out my fundamentals weren't as solid as I thought Built something. Broke things. Fixed some. Left some broken for tomorrow. The honest truth: most of my day felt busy but not productive. That's the part no one talks about. Day 3 of my Upskilling journey 🚀 (Sick day, but didn't stop completely) Even while under the weather, kept the momentum going: * Pattern Programming —> Continued with the pattern series. Mid-way realized these patterns would've been so much easier to solve in Java rather than JavaScript 😅 But Rule #4 says: no switching languages mid-journey. So yeah, pushed through it in JS only. *File Organizer Project (Node.js) —> Shifted focus to building a File Organizer to deeply understand Node's fs (File System) module. day 2 update 👇 node.js -> dave gray's course is genuinely good but sitting through long videos is not my thing 😭 switched to: build first, rewatch when stuck. way better for my brain dsa -> did some pattern programming as warmup, going with striver a-z sheet from here not perfect. but consistent > perfect #100DaysOfCode #StriverSheet

Day 1 of my DSA journey. Set the rules. Started the grind. Made 4 rules for myself before touching a single problem: → No more than 3 problems a day → Never copy a solution without thinking it through first → No skipping revision & reflection sessions → No switching languages midway Slow is smooth. Smooth is fast. Yesterday: Revised DSA basics - time complexity, basic math Brushed up JavaScript (my DSA language of choice) Started Node.js... and immediately questioned everything Here's the thing after JS, the order you follow matters.
