Thrilled to see @SancusVentures land in Carta’s top-decile ranking among thousands of funds. Early validation is energizing, but venture is a marathon. Our north star remains unchanged: drive outsized DPI that truly rewards LPs for the illiquidity of the asset class.

Tariffs haven’t slowed AI; they've accelerated it. When labor & manufacturing costs rise, companies get squeezed. This pressure forces new thinking, automate what you can, optimize the rest, and find ways to grow. AI adoption has shifted from optional to essential.

This trend has validated two of our primary investment focuses at Sancus Ventures: Data Infra & Tooling, which generates, curates, annotates, and manage high-quality data, and Compute Infra & Tooling, which offers scalable computing solutions for complex AI processes.

We've seen a significantly increasing usage of compute to create higher-quality data. DeepSeek's “two-phase” or “two-model” approach—one generative, one evaluative—results from computationally expensive processes (reasoning, simulation, filtering).
