@josemorgado surprised it's "just" 9. he more than doubled his tally in less than a year.
English

@BastienFachan dude's on a rampage, collecting trophies like candy bars from the grocery store!
English

@josemorgado i swear the match was like 30 mins long
English

@khachanole @josemorgado i have to agree. i agree with the not shaking hands thing, but she could have said just a quick congrats or a word of encouragement to her teenage opponent during her speech.
English

@josemorgado Her not mentioning Mirra on the winner's speech is very disgusting
English

@vanshv2k i don't think it was that tactically interesting. both have weak backhands and returns (especially tsitsipas), and they were both aggressively targeting these weaknesses with their respective strengths (serve and forehand for both). it was a very entertaining match, nonetheless.
English

@jeayse_jay @josemorgado i am doubtful of the slams tally but jannik is very disciplined and consistent, so he should make inroads into several records and break a fair few. future is always unpredictable, but the way things are going he'll have a 3rd consecutive 90%+ win rate season.
English

@josemorgado Levels above everyone….He will definitely break most records set by Top 3
English

@josemorgado i can't believe how easily sinner is beating fils. i thought this match would be closer hahaha
English

English

@josemorgado martha and other ukraini players show up with extra motivation to beat russian and belarussian players. zabalenka is the only one out of their grasp. i think this could be a close match if andreeva can keep her cool and weave her web to trap kosytuk

@itsallljokes @josemorgado he has played very few 250s for the past few years
English

@josemorgado He’s gonna vulture a couple 250s and get right back up there by next month 😭
English

Casper Ruud will leave the top 20 for the first time since May 2021.
José Morgado@josemorgado
Incredible! With points like this one, 21yo Alexander Blockx defeats the defending champ Casper Ruud 6-4, 6-4 to reach the semifinals in Madrid. Incredible run! Will enter the top 35 🔥
English

@josemorgado i think sinner has to be on his A game for this match. this is the first real test for him in this tournament. if he plays like he has so far, he will have his hands full.
English

@josemorgado sinner saved his best for the last. was kinda mid for most of the match except when saving break points.
English

World #1 Jannik Sinner defeats Rafael Jodar 6-2, 7-6(0) to reach the semifinals in Madrid for the first time.
Won the last 11 points of a great match.
21 consecutive wins
26 consecutive Masters 1000 wins

English

@josemorgado sinner looks more exhausted than usual. if he completes madrid he should consider skipping roma.
English

@josemorgado this set is jover. jodar need to regroup for next set.
English

@Lenafan75 @josemorgado will they shake hands now that pots plays for a different country?
English

@josemorgado Noskova is the only thing that is standing between the classic Kostyuk-Potapova reunion in the SF....
English

@josemorgado this girl potatova has improved too much. two years ago she was on all fours bawling her eyes out after being double bagelled by swiatek at roland garros.
English

@sheeesh_yall @MartinShkreli these companies want to make hardware so expensive that most retail consumers can no longer afford them. they want us to perpetually "rent" locked down devices that only run their shit.
English

@MartinShkreli Wasn't the "value" created by turning old books and (mostly) unused internet data into the models. What is the value creation by hosting the models Vs someone packaging and selling an app that runs locally? Memory and processors will be cheap enough in 2 yrs to run largest...

@josemorgado @PhotographyReis ruud's playing a little bit better overall pretty much from the start (except the first tiebreak), but it's still very much a deadlock. both have excellent serves and less than stellar returns. surprised this is their first match that's going the distance.
English

Defending champ Casper Ruud forces a decider vs. Stefanos Tsitsipas in a battle of the former top 3 and Grand Slam finalists.
6-7(4), 7-6(2).
