Everyone, this is Geist. Geist, this is everyone. Geist is the nephew of Garm and was born on 7 December, one day before we said goodbye to my best friend. He arrived today from San Diego. Today has been a really hard day, perhaps the hardest day since we said goodbye to Garm. Lotsa tears today. In all honesty, we aren't quite ready for this. We may never have been ready, but for Grim she needed a friend. Admittedly, he might be good for us as well. Given the timing of his birth, and that he carries Garms bloodlines, it seemed like he may have been put here on this earth for us. The only black and tan male in the litter. We just couldn't say no. He's a naughty puppy and I hope he and Grim become fast friends and he will be happy here. I of course will continue posting pics of my boy, I always will, my heart requires it, but I do hope you will enjoy seeing Geist as he grows up and of course our Lil Lady Fruit Bat. I expect shenanigans galore. 🖤 to my moosedog, your spirit lives on in our memories and through Grim and now Geist.
