It's been a week and I'm quite happy on Mastodon. I'm not deleting this Twitter account but I don't intend to read/post much here anymore. See you on the other side!

@prollin @mkristensen I'm super excited for sticky headers but we won't be bringing it to VSMac at the same time as it arrives on WIndows.

@prollin @mkristensen For what it's worth, that's our big focus on VSMac right now after some regressions slipped in for 17.4. But also remember that a given team has multiple people, and some can work on perf and bugs while others work on features, as appropriate.

It's official - I'm moving full time to work on Microsoft Dev Box! After ~5 years of working on Visual Studio for Mac, it was time to change things up a bit, though I'm going to sorely miss the team and product. We've done great work together and I can't wait to see what's next.

I made various mastodon accounts several years ago. mastodon.network is now porn, mastodon.social and octodon.social both claim my username/password is wrong, assuming I even trust them to still be the same entities I signed up with in the first place...

And the truly evil thing is that he did this to us during NaNoWriMo

#nanowrimo2022 continues! I choked yesterday but made up for it today, and now I'm on track with 10,000 words complete! Now to flesh out some synopses and set myself up for success in the coming week...

I jump off and back on the rails pretty regularly as I write, but it's really fun and motivating to have this arbitrary daily goal. I've made some notes for cleaning up chapter one, and chapter two is fun so far! A little over 1700 words both yesterday and today! #NaNoWriMo22
