I’ve not been able to place this photo or identify the vessel. It may be HMCS Sackville, a Flower-class corvette in the North Atlantic. It’s quite evocative.

@Bert_Plumswang FWIW, doesn't look like Sackville to me - I can't think of anywhere onboard where the superstructure runs right out to the rail. Sackville has bulwark around the quarterdeck (stern), and railing all around the edge of the deck on the foc'st'le. @IBallantyn
