The late former Governor of Kano, Alhaji Abubakar Rimi, and another former Kano Governor, also late, Alhaji Abdu Dawakin Tofa, and I, twenty-seven years ago, in 1999. Alhaji Rimi was a great orator. Kano has always had some of the best orators in Nigeria, from Maitama Sule, the late great Dan Masani of Kano, to Mallam Aminu Kano, who was probably the greatest mass mobilizer Nigeria ever knew. By the way, everything I was wearing in that photo, from head to toe, was made in Nigeria.

Your claim is not true; El-Rufai was a central figure in the formation of APC in 2013. He was a member of the committee that negotiated the merger of ACN, CPC and ANPP. He was the pioneer Dep. Nat. Sec. of APC. He chaired CPC renewal Committee which positioned CPC for merger.
